Role Overview
The senior-level Quality Engineer to support a large-scale regulatory and data platform initiative tied to CCAR and Common Data Platform efforts. This individual will play a dual role supporting both CCAR/data initiatives and enterprise application QA/testing efforts. This is a highly visible role working closely with Finance, Data Governance, QA, and Data Platform teams, while collaborating with our parent bank project leadership and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate, test and support CCAR initiative and Common Data Platform (CDP) initiatives tied to new banking regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with Finance teams, Data Governance, and Data Platform teams to support data validation, reporting, and testing efforts.
  • Provide Quality Engineering support to enterprise applications across multiple projects and platforms.
  • Support data testing activities within Azure Data Factory and broader data platform environments.
  • Validate and test large data sets, reporting outputs, and integrations.
  • Collaborate across functional groups to communicate project updates, testing results, and business impacts.
  • Help drive efficiency, coverage, and execution across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Support automation-focused testing environments and contribute to QA process improvements.
  • Participate in ongoing data platform and reporting modernization initiatives.
  • Work closely with project leadership and proactively drive initiatives forward without requiring constant direction.
  • Step into business analyst or project manager duties when needed for short periods of time.

Required Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10-15+ years of experience in QA, Business Systems Analysis, Data Validation, or related technical roles
  • Experience in the banking industry- Must understand banking concepts such as loans, deposits, assets, regulatory reporting, etc.
  • Experience supporting CCAR, regulatory, or enterprise data initiatives
  • Strong QA/testing background supporting enterprise applications
  • Data validation and data testing experience
  • Experience working in automation-heavy testing environments
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to independently drive workstreams (they need someone who will not wait for work or answers to find them, they need someone who will ask questions and find their own answers. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across business and technical teams
  • Experience working with large data platforms/environments
  • Exposure to PII and data governance concepts
  • Flexibility to support both CCAR/data work and QA/application testing efforts
  • Ability to work onsite 4 days/week in Pittsburgh

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure Data Factory experience
  • SQL/query experience
  • Salesforce experience
  • Python or exposure to automation/scripting tools
  • Experience in a QA Practice at a senior or lead level
  • Experience with Common Data Platforms (CDP) or Medallion Layer environments
  • Experience with enterprise finance, forecasting, or reporting modernization initiatives
  • Previous experience working with Raymond James or large banking regulatory programs
