Certified PEGA Lead System Architects
Role Overview
The Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) role within the Center of Excellence (COE) adds enterprise technical leadership, governance oversight, platform architecture design, complex problem resolution, guidance and support for enterprise delivery teams, code and design reviews, and use of modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance enterprise-wide digital transformation and application delivery. Senior Pega LSA with deep architectural expertise, enterprise platform governance experience, and rigorous technical leadership.
Creates and leads the enterprise technical design, platform scalability planning, reusable asset strategy, and overarching architecture of core Pega platform services and shared enterprise frameworks. Proposes & designs robust software solutions to address complex enterprise-wide needs and multi-tenant scaling. Prepares enterprise technical guidelines, architectural blueprints, and procedural documentation required. Facilitates complex problem resolution across distributed enterprise applications, database optimizations, and platform integration layers. Provides technical guidance, mentorship, and architectural governance to enterprise development teams. Reviews enterprise design patterns, code, testing strategies, and technical documentation to enforce Pega Guardrails and COE standards. Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance platform capabilities, system resilience, and architectural governance.
Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align internal client needs, developer experience, and system satisfaction as primary considerations in all architectural decisions, leveraging that information to build robust platform services.
Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with enterprise software deployment, security compliance, and platform scaling to ensure they adhere to and support the company's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ Years of overall IT experience with 7+ years specializing in Pega design, enterprise architecture, and platform governance, preferably in a large banking / financial institution environment supporting enterprise-scale operations.
Active Pega Certified Lead System Architect (LSA) certification
Deep expertise in establishing and governing Pega Center of Excellence (COE) frameworks, enterprise reusable assets, and shared platform services
Advanced Enterprise Application Architecture and Design Patterns
Performance Tuning, High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Pega Guardrail governance
Complex Enterprise Integrations (REST, SOAP, Kafka, MQ)
Process Improvement
Release Management & Pipeline Automation (Deployment Manager / DevOps)
Software Solutions and Design
Application Development
