Lead PEGA Business Architect
Role Overview
The Pega Lead Business Architect (LBA) role within the Center of Excellence (COE) adds enterprise-level business architecture leadership, governance oversight, enterprise reuse strategy, requirements standardization, guidance and support for delivery teams, design reviews, and use of modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance enterprise-wide digital transformation. Lead Pega LBA with deep expertise in enterprise business architecture, cross-functional governance, and stakeholder alignment.
Creates and leads the functional design, enterprise requirements standardization, and overarching business architecture of core Pega platform services and shared enterprise frameworks. Proposes & designs standardized business workflow solutions to address complex enterprise-wide operational needs. Prepares functional, operational, and governance documentation required. Facilitates complex problem resolution between diverse business units, enterprise stakeholders, and technical development teams. Provides guidance and support to business analysts, project teams, and system architects. Reviews user stories, case designs, and functional documentation to ensure alignment with COE standards. Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance enterprise automation capabilities and operational efficiency.
Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align internal business units, end-user adoption, and operational satisfaction as primary considerations in all architectural decisions, leveraging that information to build robust platform services.
Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with enterprise workflow deployment, regulatory compliance, and process standardization to ensure they adhere to and support the company's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ Years of experience preferably in a large banking / financial institution environment, focusing on enterprise platform governance, reusable business components, and cross-departmental workflow standards.
Pega Business Architect (LBA) certification / expertise
Deep experience in establishing Pega Center of Excellence (COE) governance, reusable business assets, and enterprise intake processes
Advanced Business Process Analysis, Direct-as-Design (DAD), and Requirements Standardization
Process Improvement
Release Management
Software Solutions and Design
User Experience / Case Design
Application Development Life Cycle Familiarity
Design and architecture familiarity/experience
