Informatica ETL Developer
Role Overview
The Senior ETL Developer role adds technical design, workflow creation, and data movement execution, complex problem resolution, guidance and support for engineering peers, code and data pipeline reviews, and use of modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance enterprise data integration and streaming initiatives. Senior ETL Developer with deep expertise in Informatica workflow management and advanced SQL-driven data processing.
Creates and leads the technical design, development, and execution of complex ETL workflows, data integration pipelines, and high-performance data transformations using Informatica. Proposes & designs robust data movement solutions to address complex banking operational and analytical needs. Prepares technical data mapping specifications and procedural documentation required. Facilitates complex problem resolution across pipeline failures, performance bottlenecks, and database query tuning. Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, SQL scripts, testing plans, and documentation of data pipelines. Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance data integration capabilities and system throughput.
Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align data accuracy, downstream consumption, and stakeholder satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions, leveraging that information to build reliable data solutions.
Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with data movement, enterprise data quality, and security compliance to ensure they adhere to and support the company's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 6+ Years of overall IT experience with 5+ years specializing in enterprise ETL design, data movement, and database optimization, preferably in a large banking / financial institution environment.
Proven expertise in Informatica (Workflow creation, workflow management, data movement, and data integration)
Strong advanced SQL skills (complex joins, aggregations, window functions, and query optimization/filtering)
Experience working with enterprise relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL)
Understanding of data pipelines, staging mechanisms, and error-handling routines in ETL design
